Those of you who were at the BC in the late 50's and early 60's know Doug and Janet Pummill and David and Jo Pummill, and, if you were fortunate, on one or more of our BC trips to Dallas you met Doug's parents and were invited into their home, where we mingled, visited, went to church, and were fed wonderful feasts, before attending a Tech sports event or a BC wedding. Well, June 9th, 2008 will be Mrs. Pummill's, Henrietta, 100 birthday! I believe nearly all of her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and hundreds of friends gathered at a wonderful party for her in Ft. Worth. I was there, as well as Harold and Lynda Hood representing the BC. These are the pictures I took, and Doug has annotated the pictures so you can get better acquainted with the family. Most of you know the Pummills are a "musical family," and some of us have enjoyed attending their professional presentations of this very musical family. So, when the family gathered at the piano to sing for their mom or grandmom, I thought that was the very best part of the party!
