Although our group of Princetonians didn't feel the 6.9 earthquake that hit
Japan at the time of their journey, many of them came back with their world's shaken up. Led by former Washington Post Tokyo Bureau Chief T.R. Reid '66, they learned a little Japanese, ate exotic foods, and experienced a sumo wrestling match with color-commentary by Reid. Visits to temples and gardens rounded out their colorful experience.
