Ably led by Princeton historian James McDougall, the Princeton Journeys program in
Morocco exposed a hearty group of travelers to a variety of landscapes and sites in this sophisticated North African country with its mélange of European, Arab, and Berber influences. From Fez, Meknes, and Ouarzazate and through the Atlas Mountains, the trip concluded in Marrakesh. A visit with Sharon Keld '80, a Peace Corps volunteer currently working in Morocco, allowed participants to hear about business planning for local artisans and was a highlight of the program.
