My trip through Bardstown, KY where I saw Saint Joseph's Church, a Civil War living history area and dined in a 1700's Tavern. Then off to spend the weekend at Shaker Village in Pleasant Hill, KY. The Village sits on more than 3,000 acres of land nad has more than 40 restored buildings, many of which are used as guest rooms. Their restaurant was very good and the service was excellent.

Unfortunately, the weather was not very cooperative as the temperature fell into the 40's - 50's with strong winds and rain.

Check out the images of a fly I took using my new Macro lens. The Fly was about the size of a piece of rice. Off in the distance you can see an electric generating plant.
