Wearing long underwear might not be everyone's idea of the perfect summer vacation, but a stalwart group of Princetonians braved the wind and sea to take an historic Bering Sea Crossing, June 12-26. After beginning in Anchorage and eventually flying to the Kamchatka Peninsula, the group boarded the Clipper Odyssey and saw a wealth of bird- and sea-life, visited remote villages, and learned from experts in a number of fields. Led through the archeology and anthropology of the region by Study Leader Carolyn Dillian and Staff Host Andrew Gossen, this group has returned with some great summer vacation stories. | ||
