Once again Troy was sacked and the population were enthusiastically put to the sword. Form VI (with help from the rest of the school) re-enacted this favourite of history lessons in a full scale costume and musical performance. As always Pre-school, with the dance from Zorba, and Kindergarten as Bob the wooden horse builders stole the show. Hector’s lengthy and overacted death was thoroughly enjoyed by all. Form II’s wonderfully militant Greek army demonstrated that they were indeed ‘hard as nails’ and the battle scenes between Greeks and Trojans were enthusiastically acted leaving a satisfying number of dead bodies everywhere.
Mrs. Hobbs and her enthusiastic and talented team of staff helpers ensured that the usual two performances had the audience calling for more. Well done to everyone!
