The Art of Being Green is a free-admission three day event in mid-July which provides opportunities for public education on a variety of environmental topics in a fun and entertaining way. The festival is located at the Clyde Memorial Ball Park in Lanark Village under a tented Slow City. Workshops, environmental film screenings, parade, entertainment and children’s programs all add to the festive air of the event and provide something for every member of the family. The large vendor trade area showcases products and services aimed at environmental issues; renovating your home, buying eco-friendly lifestyle products, alternative energy and building opportunities and organic food products are just a few examples of what you can expect.
