After a long absence from photography while getting my ankle fixed, my camera is in action again! (still working on the ankle) Waited for the ankle to heal in order to take out a window a.c. unit after the central air was replaced and it paid off! The window unit became a nesting place for two morning doves. This album contains photos of mom and dad, the eggs, photos just two hours after their birth, and photos of them growing up. I'll add photos of their progress if possible.

There was only one egg, then a second egg a day or so later. They were born the same way, about a day apart. Mom has been regurgitating nonstop to feed them and dad stays out most of the time hunting, only giving mom an occasional break watching the nest. Gestation was almost three weeks and I understand at about two weeks old after birth, they will start flying. They're already drying out their wings and their eyes are open. Mom is the fatter dove with the fluffier feathers, and dad has shorter feathers with the green hue on his neck. Despite an occasional glare since through the window glass was the only way I could take these photos, what a lucky photo op this was!
