David Spergel ’82 S*02 and group of Astronomy loving Princetonians journeyed to Chile to explore the Southern Skies and world class observatories. One day the group explored the newly constructed Atacama Cosmology Telescope (ACT) at 16,700 feet with the assistance of on-site Princeton researchers. The group also had many opportunities to meet and discuss with leaders in the field of astronomy. The adventure also included excursions to cities and towns, geysers, salt lakes, hot springs, pisco distilleries and an amazing sunset. | ||
